Take Care of Our Own

Our disabled veterans have sacrificed so much for us that we can never repay them.  When they're struggling, we deliver a month's worth of  food, clothing, and whatever  they need, to get them through a rough patch.

We deliver food and basic necessities to housebound elderly, when they're having a difficult time.  We put away the food for them, loosen the lids of jars, and just stay and visit for a little while.

We provide food, clothing, and other essentials directly to the homeless.  We, also, donate food to other charities to cook meals for the homeless, including end-of-season vegetables from our veterans garden, after the first freeze, to make them soup.

We have a soft spot in our hearts for the families of children with life-threatening illnesses.  We help them with food and expenses, and we arranged for one of our little friends to realize his last wish.

Our three "Bowling Down Bullies" charity events raised awareness of bullying, provided resources for victims of bullying, and  attendees signed a contract to "Stand up, and say something."

We organized "Join Our Heroes in the Fight Against Violence" charity basketball game between Reno Fire Firefighters and the San Francisco 49ers, present and past players.
